Temperatures across parts of the United Arab Emirates are projected to soar to 46°C on Saturday, accompanied by high humidity levels that may lead to fog or mist during the overnight and early morning hours. This weather pattern is particularly anticipated in coastal and inland regions, potentially affecting visibility.
The UAE’s weather is expected to be generally fair to partly cloudy, with light to moderate winds prevailing. Inland areas are forecasted to experience temperatures ranging from 41°C to 46°C, while coastal areas and islands may see temperatures between 36°C and 41°C. Meanwhile, mountainous regions could witness temperatures between 29°C and 35°C.
Humidity levels might reach up to 95% in certain areas, heightening the chances of reduced visibility due to fog or mist from late Saturday through Sunday morning. These conditions are likely to persist into the upcoming week. Eastern parts of the UAE could see an increase in cloud formation from Monday afternoon, with the potential development of convective clouds.
The occurrence of fog or mist is expected to continue overnight and during the early morning through Wednesday and Thursday. Wind speeds may occasionally increase to about 35 km/h, although sea conditions are predicted to remain generally slight, with some periods of moderate to rough conditions in the Sea of Oman.
