Rain and Strong Winds Forecast in UAE Amid High Temperatures and Dust

by admin477351

Weather forecasts for the United Arab Emirates indicate a week of unsettled conditions, with rain, strong winds, and dust expected in various regions. On Wednesday, parts of the UAE will experience significant wind activity, with speeds reaching up to 50 km/h, particularly in inland and mountainous areas. These conditions are likely to cause blowing dust, reducing visibility in certain locations, while temperatures could soar to 41°C in inland regions.

The weather will remain generally fair to partly cloudy, but convective clouds are anticipated to form over eastern areas before moving towards some inland and western regions in the afternoon. These clouds have the potential to bring rainfall due to the influence of low-pressure systems over the country. Meanwhile, coastal areas and islands could see winds reaching up to 35 km/h.

Temperature forecasts for Wednesday show a range between 35°C and 41°C inland, 34°C and 38°C along the coast, and 26°C to 32°C in mountainous areas. Overnight, humidity levels are expected to rise, potentially reaching up to 90% in some areas, which could lead to mist or fog development, especially in coastal and inland locations. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to remain slight.

Thursday’s weather continues the trend of unsettled conditions, with clouds developing over eastern and western parts of the UAE, bringing further chances of rain. Wind speeds could reach 40 km/h, accompanied by occasional blowing dust. As the week progresses, Friday will see partly cloudy skies with a possibility of afternoon rain in the eastern areas, while humidity could result in fog or mist overnight.

Looking towards the weekend, temperatures are expected to gradually decrease. Saturday may feature convective clouds in the eastern and northern areas, with Sunday anticipated to remain generally fair to partly cloudy. The humid conditions will persist into Monday morning, maintaining the risk of fog or mist formation.

The forecast underscores that Wednesday and Thursday present the highest likelihood of rainfall, followed by more stable and cooler weather towards the weekend, along with recurring risks of fog or mist due to elevated humidity levels.
