Unsettled Weather in UAE: Rain, Fog, and Dusty Winds Over Five Days

by admin477351

The United Arab Emirates is bracing for a period of unsettled weather over the next five days, with forecasts predicting rain, fog, and dusty winds in various regions. Starting on Saturday, October 17, convective clouds are expected to form over the eastern areas, potentially bringing rainfall. The weather will remain fair to partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging between 37°C to 42°C inland, 35°C to 40°C along the coast, and 28°C to 33°C in mountainous regions.

On Sunday, October 18, the chance of rainfall continues, particularly in the northern and eastern parts of the country as clouds build during the afternoon. Humidity levels are anticipated to rise overnight into Monday morning, creating conditions conducive to fog or mist in coastal and inland areas.

Monday, October 19, may see further rainfall in the eastern and southern areas. Fog or mist is likely to develop in some western regions overnight, persisting into Tuesday morning. Winds could reach speeds of up to 40 km/h, potentially raising dust in exposed locations.

Tuesday’s weather is expected to mirror the previous days, with convective clouds possibly bringing rain to eastern and southern areas. Wind speeds might increase to 50 km/h at times, leading to blowing dust.

By Wednesday, October 21, the skies are likely to remain fair to partly cloudy, with another possibility of afternoon rain in eastern and southern regions. The high humidity overnight could result in fog or mist forming on Thursday morning in coastal and inland locations.

These weather changes are attributed to surface and upper-air low-pressure systems impacting the region. Residents and motorists should stay vigilant for reduced visibility due to fog, mist, and blowing dust, especially during early morning and overnight hours.
