The United Arab Emirates has rolled out a nationwide campaign aimed at rallying citizens and residents to express their support and loyalty to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This initiative acknowledges his pivotal role in boosting the nation’s security, stability, and international stature.
Unveiled by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the “Pledge and Commitment” campaign was launched during a significant event at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, attended by over 4,800 people, including citizens, residents, students, investors, academics, and business leaders. The campaign is designed to emphasize President Sheikh Mohamed’s contributions to the country’s development, highlighting four main principles: fostering unity and coexistence, drawing inspiration from leadership values, reinforcing civic responsibility and national identity, and expressing gratitude for the prosperity and stability enjoyed by the nation.
To ensure widespread participation, the campaign has expanded online, featuring a dedicated website and a QR code to facilitate digital engagement across the UAE. Organizers plan to sustain the initiative through collaborations with businesses, universities, and community organizations, supported by multilingual online interactions and public events.
The launch of this campaign follows a period marked by national solidarity in response to regional security tensions earlier this year. In the spirit of unity and resilience, public displays of patriotism have surged, with UAE flags prominently displayed at homes, offices, and public spaces, echoing calls from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to celebrate the nation’s collective strength.
Those who join the pledge online affirm their loyalty and support for President Sheikh Mohamed, acknowledging him as a leader who ensures the country’s security, fosters progress, and exemplifies dedication and service to the nation. Participants receive a digital certificate of appreciation, which they can download and share, further spreading the message of unity and commitment.
