The route efficiently links Abu Dhabi and Fujairah in less than two hours, and its popularity is evident as many trains have been operating at full capacity.

Likewise, hotels in Fujairah have reported a rise in bookings. Looking ahead, Etihad Rail has ambitious plans to further develop its passenger network. The expansion is set to proceed in phases, with new stations in Dubai and Sharjah slated to open on September 30. This will be followed by additional stations in Madinat Zayed and Liwa, scheduled to commence operations on November 30.
