The United Arab Emirates is bracing for a surge in summer temperatures, with forecasts indicating highs of up to 48°C in the inland areas over the coming days. This weather update comes as meteorologists predict stable conditions across the country, featuring clear skies and light to moderate winds, with minimal chances of significant weather disturbances.

Friday’s temperatures are expected to vary significantly across the region. Inland areas could see the mercury rising between 44°C and 48°C, while coastal and island regions might experience a slightly cooler range, from 36°C to 43°C. In contrast, the mountainous areas are anticipated to record temperatures between 32°C and 39°C. Wind speeds will generally range from 10 to 20kph, occasionally peaking at 30kph, with the seas expected to remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

This pattern of hot and largely clear weather is projected to persist through the weekend. On Saturday morning, low clouds might form over parts of the eastern coast, with winds potentially strengthening, reaching speeds of up to 40kph. By Sunday, a slight dip in temperatures is anticipated as northwesterly winds gain momentum, potentially causing rough sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf, though the Sea of Oman is expected to maintain slight to moderate conditions.

As the week progresses into Monday and Tuesday, the forecast suggests continued fair skies and occasional morning clouds along the eastern coast. Periods of fresh winds are expected, and sea conditions are likely to improve gradually early in the week. This weather marks the onset of typical early-summer conditions in the UAE, characterized by extreme daytime heat, clear skies, and overall stable atmospheric conditions.
