The United Arab Emirates is set to encounter warmer weather with increasingly humid nights during the Eid Al Adha holiday, according to forecasts from the National Center of Meteorology. As the nation moves closer to summer, temperatures are expected to climb, though the overall conditions will remain generally fair to partly cloudy throughout the holiday week.
A temporary dip in temperatures is anticipated on Sunday, accompanied by potential fog or mist in some western and coastal regions during the night and early morning hours. Nevertheless, hotter weather is expected to resume on Monday, aligning with the start of the Eid break for government employees.
During the holiday period, temperatures are projected to reach approximately 43°C in Al Ain and 41°C in Fujairah. Light to moderate winds could occasionally gust up to 35 km/h, contributing to the dynamic weather conditions. Humidity levels are also anticipated to rise during the nights and early mornings, particularly in coastal areas.
Despite the uptick in temperatures, sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are predicted to remain calm. This gradual increase in heat marks the transition into the UAE’s summer season following a relatively mild spring. In recent weeks, several regions have already experienced temperatures surpassing 40°C.
As part of the northern hemisphere, the UAE will officially welcome summer astronomically on June 21. This shift into the hotter months is expected to bring increasingly warm conditions as the season progresses.
